By the time most clients reach me, they’re saying:

Why? Because here’s what happens when branding is done backward:

✔️ What specific problem do I help them solve?

✔️ Why would they choose me over someone else?


Without this clarity, your branding is just guesswork.

Step 2: Nail Your Messaging & Positioning

Your message is your brand. If it’s unclear, your branding won’t connect.


✔️ What transformation do you provide?

✔️ How do you communicate your value?

✔️ What makes you different from every other coach?


 
Step 3: Create a Pinterest or Mood Board

Once you have a clear message and target audience, it helps to visualize your brand direction before hiring a designer.


Use Pinterest or Canva to create a mood board with: 


🎨 Colors that reflect your brand personality

🖊️ Fonts that match your brand’s tone

📸 Images that align with your messaging


This way, you’ll have a clear vision and can communicate it effectively to a designer or branding expert.


 
Step 4: Get a Branding Package That Includes More Than Just a Logo

If you hire a branding expert, make sure they provide:


✔️A comprehensive branding package that includes messaging, positioning, and audience insights—not just visuals

✔️A brand strategy document outlining your voice, tone, and content direction


If you can’t find a package that includes strategy, make sure you gain enough clarity beforehand so you can properly guide your designer.


 
Step 5: THEN Build Your Website & Content Strategy

Once you’ve nailed your messaging and brand identity, then it’s time for:


✔️ Website copy that clearly communicates your offer

✔️ A visual brand that aligns with your message

✔️ A content strategy that attracts and converts
